ARCHAEOLOGICAL TULUM
Tulum was the only Mayan city built on the coast and it’s one of the last cities inhabited by this ancient race. Settled atop sheer limestone cliffs facing the turquoise splendor of the Caribbean.
Tulum is one of the most magical of all Mayan archeological sites. Several interesting structures, such as the Temple of the Frescoes, the Castillo pyramid and the Temple of the Diving God, can be explored in this ancient Mayan “place of the dawning sun”.
CENOTE EXPLORE
Most of the 6,000 cenotes of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula are located around Tulum. These natural swimming holes formed by the collapse of porous limestone reveal a secret underworld of turquoise pools where the Mayans communicated with the gods.
